This Saturday, in ICC hall people’s representative at CA were busy on electing new president, in the same time some youth leaders were busy at electing new leadership for AYON. Though I was not perfectly well I managed to Participate General Meeting Assembly of Association of youth organization Nepal (AYON. The interesting thing was that the AYON leadership was going to change and everybody was curious about new leadership. During morning time, I got a call from friend who was going to be candidate for a vital post, he told me that “ Brabmji you should take lead and should be nominated for Executive board, in informal talks we all are agreed for your name”. What should I say? I told him I am ready for that.

So, I went to staff college jawalakhel, everybody was gossiping about election, our organization (creative youth society) was a new member for AYON, so we hadn’t hoped for any vital post. As some leading friends were telling me to lake lead. (Personally I was not so much interested to be board member coz I am involved in so many things so, I might not get sufficient time to do more thing.)

During election, I was so depressed, there were some panels, of different communities like madhesies, dalits, and I was confused what to do? I didn’t spend much energy for to get vote,

What could be the result? I was not elected by just 3 votes. I didn’t loose anything, the post I hadn’t hoped for, I have no regret on that, but one depressing thing was that our mentality is so much politicized, we fight for post but we forgot our responsibilities.
