A small group of youth decided to do something for the country, to ensure peace, to make constitution on time. So a facebook group started. Many people ask me about ACT NOW, so i want to make clear about ACT NOW!

This is an initiative to show our solidarity as a generation that stands beyond personal and political greed – a generation of Nepalese ready to sacrifice our lives and promising careers elsewhere to achieve better a future right here in Nepal.

“We remember and see conflict, war, poverty, deprivation and political turmoil inflicting Nepal since ages. We have been surviving through impunity, insecurity and lacuna of trust every day. Each day more than 700 young people are migrating out of the country in search of greener grass. Nepal is losing its brains and muscles.

We hate everybody; we complain against everything because we cannot change things or people as we want. Though we are frustrated and confused, we know what we want.

We want PEACE, DEMOCRACY, TRUST, DEVELOPMENT because we DESERVE those. But we also know that these rights come with responsibilities. We, as a generation, are ready to SACRIFICE ourselves, our career and our lives. We stand beyond any political or personal interests. We want better future right here in Nepal. And for that we know we have to act now!
